Live-In or Live-Out Nanny – Chelmsford, Essex

Salary: £18 gross per hour
Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday, 1pm–9pm
Additional: 2 overnight shifts per week (first 3 months)
Start: Immediate

A warm, organised and experienced Nanny is required for a lovely family in Chelmsford, Essex, caring for two children aged 3 years and a newborn. The family can offer live-in or live-out, with comfortable accommodation available for the right candidate.

This role combines afternoon/evening childcare with short-term newborn support at night.

Role Responsibilities

• Caring for a 3-year-old with engaging activities, play, and routines
• Supporting mum with newborn care and feeding
• Overnight help twice per week for the first 3 months (to support newborn feeding)
• Bath and bedtime routines
• Preparing simple, healthy meals for the child
• Light nursery duties: children’s laundry, keeping play areas tidy, bottle prep & sterilising
• Helping the home run smoothly, especially during evening routines
• Once overnight support reduces, additional daytime hours can be added if desired

Requirements

• Confident experience with both toddlers and newborns
• A warm, calm, and nurturing approach
• Ability to work independently and support a busy household
• Excellent references and right to work in the UK
• Flexibility and reliability, especially with newborn care
• For live-in applicants: accommodation provided within the family home

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday – 1pm to 9pm
• 2 overnight shifts per week for 3 months
• £18 gross per hour
• Live-in accommodation available if required
