Hummingbird are pleased to announce that we are now offering first aid courses and training. Our first course will be in Leatherhead on Saturday 27th May and will be offered at just £75.00 for an intensive half day of training.
We are thrilled to introduce Ron Lumb as our trainer and newest member of the Hummingbird team. With over 20 years' experience in the Fire Service and 6 years working for the NHS as a co-responder, Ron is very well equipped to deliver training courses to those looking to refresh their skills or needing to train for Ofsted registration.
Time 10.00am - 3.00pm.
Our time and money saving Ofsted recognised course is designed to cut out the things that come with first other first aid courses that you really don't need . they will be intensive and there will be a short coffee and comfort break mid way but in order to save time on your Saturday afternoon we feel that a long introduction by Ron on who he is and why he is there is not necessary. All information about him can be found on our website. there will also not be an hour long lunch break and two half hour coffee breaks saving you a whole 2 hours!
All information covered will be as needed in stages 1 and 2 and there will be practical training so be prepared to get on the floor and use the adult, baby and child mannequins. At the end there will be a 25 question and answer sheet covering all the subject matter and making sure that you have retained your new skills and life saving techniques. This is called the confirmation of knowledge and is a vital part of the training course. you can either take it with you and return it to Ron in the post or you can stay and do the sheet on site and hand it to him before you leave.
