Lovely family seek experienced part time nanny in Surbiton Monday to Thursday starting February.

Our lovely client in Surbiton is looking for a Part Time Nanny for their 4.5 year old twin boys. The role varies in timings between school holidays and term times, but there is an average monthly salary of 31 hours per week as an employed member of their household with pension, Tax and NI taken care of. The hours during term time would be Monday to Thursday from 0700 - 0900 and then 1500-1830,. During the school holidays Monday to Thursday 0700 - 1830 (however, the family do take the children away for some of the school holiday). The salary equates to £11 net per hour. There is an opportunity to do an extra 4-5 hours per week if you'd like to take on housekeeping duties as well, the home is kept clean and tidy and these extra tasks would be hoovering, dusting, changing the bed linen and ironing.

The core Nannying role consists of:

  • Getting the children ready for school
  • Giving the children breakfast
  • Taking them to school ensuring they have a snack, water bottle and any PE kit or other items they may need for that school day.
  • Collecting the children from school
  • Taking them to any after school activity (currently only once per week)
  • Providing them with dinner
  • Clearing down the kitchen after use and ensuring any crockery, pans and utensils are washed up and put away before leaving.
  • Overseeing any homework the children may have and engaging them in activities.
  • Giving the children a bath and get them ready for bed.
  • During the school holidays, arranging fun activities for the children, day trips, play dates, clubs etc...
  • Providing them with snacks and meals. 
  • Keeping their play areas and bedrooms tidy. 

 

We are looking for a candidate who is kind, caring, lots of fun and passionate about working with children. You should have excellent references, have a DBS, First Aid qualification and be a non smoker / vaper.  Car owner/driver . 

 

This is a delightful family to work with who are very sorry to be losing their current nanny who has really become part of the family.
